Who is the Air Sponge marketed by?
Nature's Air Sponge
is marketed online and distributed by the Contractors
Zone,
an online informational and shopping cart web site for contractors
and those interested in the construction
industry.
The
Contractors
Zone is managed by Chilstead Associates and may be contacted
by email at chilstead@contractorszone.com.
What is the Air Sponge made of?
The Air Sponge is a solid paste-gel made of polyethers, emulsifiers,
activated charcoal and hygroscopic and detoxifying agents.
How does it work?
Conventional air fresheners and other deodorants are pollutants in
themselves, simply masking odors by introducing perfume into the
air. Air Sponge actually absorbs and eliminates offensive odors
and microscopic pollutants suspended in the air and is used in
mold remediation. Once the container is open, the Air Sponge begins
to dissipate into
the
air in a stream
of "lighter than air" molecules which interact with and
neutralize odor and pollutant molecules. In this way, your Air
Sponge will
work continuously to control offensive odors and create a purer,
fresher, healthier quality of air!
Is the Air Sponge toxic?
Nature's Air Sponge is non-toxic, biodegradable and 100% environmentally
safe!
I'm hyperallergenic. Can I use Nature's
Air Sponge?
The Air Sponge, when newly opened, emits a pleasing soap-like smell
that gradually dissipates over a few days. Hyperallergenic persons
may not be able to tolerate this slight odor.
How long will it last?
4-6 weeks in normal use. Heavier concentrations of odors will reduce
this time. You will need to replace the Air Sponge when it is reduced
to 10% of its original size.
How many do I need?
One 8oz. Air Sponge will work effectively for an area of 300 sq.ft.
Heavy concentrations of smoke, skunk, solvents or for mold remediation
may require one Air Sponge per 100 sq.ft.
Is there an MSDS available?
Yes - Click on the "Links" tab above. You will need the Adobe Reader
to read the MSDS in PDF availbe free from Adobe.
Where is it shipped from?
Small quantities from Plattsburgh, NY - larger quantities from Philadelphia,
PA.
Why can't I contact you by telephone?
We, like most online businesses, find it that is more efficient to
use email as our primary means of communication to give you the
most effective and proper answer to your questions.
